The Ford Motor Company team, of very special designers, had fun back in 1998 designing and developing the all knew 1999 Cobra SVT Model Mustang.
Richard Barnhill who now makes his home over in Vancouver, Washington has owed this SVT ( Special Vehicle Team) Mustang Cobra for Eighteen years. He has made a few adjustments to the old green machine in all those years, like a brand new 2001 Cobra power plant, including a Kenna Bell 1.7 intercooled supercharger kit producing 430 H/P to the rear wheels. Add on a 5 on the floor tranny to the stock ’99 rear end and this baby is ready for action. This Electric Green Metallic w/clear top coat Cobra Mustang limited edition, sports a delicious all leather tan colored interior that Richard had completely sound proofed to enjoy the ride in comfort. To enhance the stance, Steedo lowering springs and sub-frame connectors were added for safety. Just the right look on those tires and wheels finish this ’99 Mustang Cobra off in style.
Mr. Barnhill spent 29 years with the State of Oregon as a Juvenile Parole Officer and is now enjoying his well-earned retirement. Richard is also a member in good standing with the Mt Hood Mustang and Fords Club in Portland. We at R&R NW Publication are proud to select your award winning 1999 Cobra Mustang SVT, are featured ride of the Month for July 2017.
